Jessica Galbreth

Jessica Galbreth lives in Ohio with her husband  and children.    Jessica studied fine art with a major in painting at the Toledo Museum of Art, but still considers herself largely self-taught.   She crafts her original art works primarily with watercolors, pen and ink.   She also enhances her art using airbrush and acrylic where needed.

Jessica began her art career in 1999.   Her popularity grew substantially over the years and she is now popular in the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom and Japan.

She is celebrated for her ability to capture the haunting and often mysterious beauty of goddesses and faeries from mythology. Each of her visions have a personality of their own, and often evoke strong feelings in those who view them. Some of her faeries are elegant, sweet and wistful, while others are defiant, dark and powerful.

When asked about the path she chose to follow with her art, Jessica has this to say... 

"I am often asked why I chose to paint images of myth and fantasy for my art career. It honestly never seemed like a choice, as this is what is truly in my heart. From the time I was a small child, I have loved fantasy art, especially art with a basis in mythology. I am inspired by many things...mother nature in all her beauty, the intricate myths and stories of ancient cultures, the shadowy mysteries of the moon, and the innocence and simplicity I see in the eyes of my young children. It is my most sincerest hope that my artwork serves to remind others of the magic that surrounds us and lives within us always."   - Jessica Galbreth

In February 2011 Jessica announced she retired her enchanted-art website and will focus her artistic talent on painting angels.  We wish her well in her new artistic endeavor.    Jessica's new website is TheVintageAngel.com . 

From what I understand from the vendor, Fairy Site will continue to offer collectors both new and previously released fairies based on the art of Jessica Galbreth.
